Inspection commission, chaired by Head of the Department for quality inspection, the General Inspectorate of the State Corporation "Rosatom" Stanislav Testova, within five days will be carrying out an audit of the technical, technological, fire and environmental safety; organization of work with the staff, meeting the requirements of health and safety, quality, delivery and organization of control after building units under construction at the Rostov nuclear power plant unit ?4. Target inspection visit takes place in accordance with the "Consolidated Plan for activities of "Rosatom "2015". The test result will be issued by Act of the working committee.

Meanwhile, construction of the power unit ?4 is approaching its peak. This year voltage supply for its own needs should be provided and the reactor vessel is set on a regular place.

Supply voltage for auxiliaries units under construction is one of the key stages of its completion, allowing to carry out commissioning and testing of technological systems and equipment of the NPP unit. And the installation of the case opens a wide scope of works for installation of heavy equipment of the reactor compartment.

Also this year, builders have to ensure availability of the turbine building to the top of the turbine installation. Today are working on the installation of pipelines and metal service platforms maintaining turbine generator in the turbine building experts.

The Rostov nuclear power plant is a branch of the JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The nuclear station is located on the bank of the Tsimlyansk Reservoir in 13,5 km from Volgodonsk. There are two power units with VVER-1000 reactors with an installed capacity of 1000 MWt operating at the nuclear station. The power unit No. 1 was put into commercial operation in 2001, the power unit No. 2 – in December, 2010. The power unit ?3 physical launch was held in November 2014, eagerly launch in December 2014. The power unit ?4 is being constructed.
