Rostov NPP: the “Evrica!” intellectual club meeting took place in the information centre

The “Evrica!” intellectual club meeting took place in the Rostov NPP information centre on April 23, within the scope of which the second game of “What? Where? When?” spring series dedicated to the outer space was held. The intellectuals’ club founder is the Information Center of Rostov NPP and Young Technicians’ City Station.

Two teams answered the questions about star patterns, astronomers and cosmonauts.

Pupils of school No 7 sat down to the round table first. In the course of the wrestle in the final round the pupils won the virtual players with a score of 6:5. Then the Volgodonsk Polytechnic College (Engineering and Technical Institute of National Research nuclear University of the Moscow Engineering and Physic Institute) team started the game. The students won the victory with a score of 6:0.

The expert advisory council, represented by Rostov NPP Public Information Centre consultant, power engineer with a long standing Vladimir Hozhackov and physics and astronomy teacher Larisa Zhuckova, honored the best teams’ players and viewers with a special prize. The commemorative pennons were presented to the teams’ captains; all players received the gifts from Rostov NPP Public Information Center.

Next meeting of the “Evrica!” intellectual club will be held in May, where the spring game series results will be summed up. According to the six previous games results the best team will get a name cup.
