Novovoronezh NPP-2: in 2013 the number of personnel is to be increased up to 6 thousand people

In 2013 at the site of Novovoronezh NPP-2 (general designer and the general contractor - JSC ЗAtomenergoprojectИ (Moscow), the number of personnel is expected to rise from 4700 to 6000 people. The information was announced at the meeting of the operative Staff of NVO NPP-2 construction.

At the meeting there was discussed the course of construction and erection works on objects of NVO NPP-2, the issues of the equipment delivery, and also preparation for the pre-commissioning works, planned in 2013.

Particular attention of the Staff was paid to the subject of ensuring NVO NPP-2 with qualified workers. This issue is planned to be solved with the help of the Educational center of workers training, which was opened last year in Novovoronezh in the framework of the ЗProgram of professonal training of nuclear industry construction complex workersИ, implemented by the State Corporation ЗRosatomИ and NP SRO SOUZATOMSTROYИ. Currently a training of fitters, concrete workers, riggers, welders is carrying out - in total workers of 16 specialties are being prepared.

In 2013 in the Center will start its work the ground for the training of steeplejack-fitters, as well as the area for training of slingsmen and riggers. In total in current year it is planned to prepare, to raise qualification of 1,500 workers: most of them will work for NV NPP-2.

According to the managing director of the Novovoronezh branch of JSC "Atomenergoproekt" - Management on a construction of NVO NPP-2 of Alexander Pendyurin, in 2013 on a production site it is necessary to execute large volume of warm and the electric installation work demanding high qualification both engineering, and the working personnel. "I`m sure that activity of training center will help to raise a skill level of the personnel participating in construction of nuclear station. Implementation of the vocational training program will allow the graduates of the Center to apply the received knowledge in practice, solving complex and responsible production challenges", - Alexander Pendyurin noted.
