The overlap construction was completed at the level of 15.90 meters in the turbine building of the power unit ?2. Basic technological equipment for engine room - turbine and generator - will be installed here.

The process of construction of monolithic concrete structures included several steps: installation of reinforcements and embedded products, device of a closed controlled loop, installing formwork. Note, that in accordance with the project, technological apertures intended for feeding and for installation of equipment were provided in the ceiling (separator-reheaters, condensers).

The final stage of overlap construction was its concreting. It was produced consistently block by block. In total specialist of contractor company laid more than a thousand cubic meters of concrete. After hardening of concrete a special commission will assess quality indicators of the building structure, designed to withstand heavy loads of equipment and construction loads.

In parallel preparation for delivery of turbine foundation for installation is being continued in the turbine building of the power unit ?2: sole plates have been exposed and welded to fittings. Installation of the turbine is scheduled to begin later this year.

The Leningrad NPP-2 is part of long-term activities program of the State Corporation "Rosatom".

Customer-developer of the project is the JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom".

General contractor is the JSC "CONCERN TITAN-2".

General designer is the JSC "ATOMPROEKT."

The Rostekhnadzor issued a license (number GN-02-101-2277) for nuclear installation of the power unit ?1 at the Leningrad NPP-2 (valid - till 03.31.2018) and a license (number GN-02-101-2276) for nuclear installation of the power unit ?2 at the Leningrad NPP-2 (valid - till 07.14.2019) on February 12, 2010.
