On May 31, 2011 Head of Rostekhnadzor Nikolay Kutyin signed Amendment No. 1 to the License for Operation of Kola NPP power unit No. 3 (GN-03-101-2503 of 2.04.2011), granting the right for carrying out all process operations except for operation at the minimum controlled reactor power (MCRP) and energy power level.

Amendment No. 1 provides the right to operate power unit No. 3 in all operating conditions, stipulated by the process regulations, including Тcritical reactor (operation at MCRP) and operation at the energy power levelУ.

The license has been issued for 5 years. Amendment No. 1 specifies the measures to be taken by the time of completion of scheduled preventive maintenance of 2012.
