On December 11, as part of the program of Awareness Days, there was held a meeting of the plantХs management with specialists of structural divisions at Balakovo NPP. The main topic of the discussion was the outcome of the annual conference of the leaders of the industry, ТRosatom PeopleУ, held in Moscow on November 16-17.  

People who came to the meeting were shown the video message of General Director of Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation, Sergey Kiriyenko, where he noted that for that year there had been done a lot. As an example, he cited the work on engagement, which is successfully conducted nowadays at the industry enterprises, and implementation of Rosatom Production System. Another positive thing is holding of the Awareness Days, which is a system-defined information activity, but not Тan event to observe formalitiesУ. However, he stressed that the achieved good results still was not a reason for complacency, Тotherwise, disappointment would come very quicklyУ. ТThe real work on informing and engagement appears when a manager can give the public access to the information on a continual basis. And the very correct thing is when it is not just the broadcasting of information, but the exchange of information and joint development of decisions,У considers the head of Rosatom.



In the second part of the Awareness Day, Deputy HR Director of Balakovo NPP, Viktor Basov, told about the work conducted at the nuclear power plant on the implementation of the theses of the Memorandum approved at the first conference ТRosatom PeopleУ in 2011.

Thus, fulfilling the thesis ТTo Become the Most Attractive Employer of Russia by 2015У, this year Balakovo NPP held the All-Russian Industrial Physics and Mathematics Olympiad of Rosatom (number of participants: mathematics Р 212, physics Р 62) and NPP Olympiad (number of participants: mathematics Р 195, physics Р 124). The targeted assignments to enroll in the specialized Rosobrazovaniye universities that train professionals for the nuclear industry were given to 102 Balakovo school leavers.

Another Memorandum thesis, which is successfully implemented at the plant, is to actuate the communication and training program EUSOT for managers of enterprises. The training seminars on the single unified system of payment (EUSOT) have been held for the staff of NPP on the basis of the personnel training centre; employees learned the teaching materials on EUSOT provided by the State-owned Corporation and Concern.

There were announced also the plans for the implementation of the Memorandum for 2013. The main of them are continuation of work with candidates pool, creation of the industrial system of nominations and program of recognition of the best workers of enterprises, development of the internal communication, implementation of plans to increase the engagement of employees, work to reduce reporting and red tape reduction of the industry, monitoring of the career development of young professionals and development of the training program of mentors.

The issues that emerged following the Awareness Day will be delivered to the State-owned Corporation Rosatom and Rosenergoatom Concern.
