On June 5-7, 2011, within the framework of Rosatom production system (RPS) implementation at Novovoronezh NPP there was a visit of advisory group consisting of Chief Expert Р Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC RPS implementation project manager Sergey Maksimov, Deputy Director of Maintenance, Repair and Assembly Department Andrey Mezentsev and a Japanese specialist, Mr. Suetsugu Katsuhide. 

The advisers visited warehouse No. 6 of Production and Processing Equipment Department of Novovoronezh NPP. They studied the process of stock reserve management, discussed the results of RPS implementation with the department specialists and outlined the areas of this work improvement.

The advisory group also visited the areas of turbine set repair in reactor and turbine department of power units Nos. 3- 4, reactor department of power unit No. 5. The advisers and specialists of the nuclear power plant discussed peculiarities of RPS implementation at the enterprise, and the experts provided recommendations concerning organization of work execution just at the workplaces.

In the course of the meeting with the visitors Director of NV NPP Vladimir Povarov noted that the NPP specialists appreciated fruitful partnership relations established  during cooperation between the Japanese and Russian parties. ТSince the first visit of Japanese adviser Mr. Suetsugu Katsuhide to Novovoronezh NPP in July of 2010, the nuclear power plant has done a lot in the field of Rosatom production system implementation. We hope that the new recommendations from Japanese advisers, PSR OJSC and Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC specialists will contribute to improvement of the repair quality and help to reduce the time of its durationУ, he emphasized.

RPS implementation provides for involvement of each employee into optimization process and for the maximum focus on electric power production. It contributes to reduction in labor inputs, stock reserves, space, finance and time needed.
