Balakovo NPP: power unit No. 3 has been disconnected from the power system
On June 19, 2011 at 10:53 a.m. Moscow time power unit No. 3 of Balakovo NPP was unloaded by means of the automation system in full compliance with the project algorithms and disconnected from the power system.

Kola NPP: the third power unit shutdown
On June 18, at 08:30 p.m. power unit No. 3 of Kola NPP consisted of turbine generators Nos. 5 and 6 was de-energized from the line by means of electric protections. The reason was a damage of turbine generator TG-5 shut-off device.

On June 17, 2011 a conference of the organization of young atomists was held at Smolensk NPP to hear new reports and elect new officers. Seventy delegates representing more than 200 organization members, Smolensk NPP Director Andrey Petrov, heads of the departments and subdivisions, representatives of trade union and veterans’ organizations of the nuclear plant took part in its work.
