Rostov NPP employee, a boxer Dmitriy Kudryashov won a fight with Olanrewaju Durodola from Nigeria defensing the WBC Silver belt

On 3 June, 2017, in Rostov-on-Don during a professional box show in a fight for the WBC Silver title, a boxer from Volgodonsk Dmitriy Kudryashov won a fight against Olanrewaju Durodola from Nigeria by a technical knockout at a third minute and defensed WBC Silver belt that he had won half a year ago in a fight against Santander Silgado from Colombia.

Before referee awarded Dmitriy Kudryashov win, he had knocked his opponent down three times. This is a twenty first win at the professional ring for a 31-year-old Volgodonsk citizen. All the wins were ahead-of-time. For seven years at professional ring Kudryashov has lost only one fight – with the very same Olanrewaju Durodola. And now it is avenged.

That is my family and close friends from my little town Volgodonsk, and my enterprise – Rostov NPP. They always support me, give me strength”, Dmitriy Kudryashov said after the fight.

This win allowed Dmitriy Kudryashov to become the official contender to the title of world champion in the WBC Silver.
