In Bilibino, on the basis of the camp “Molodaya Gvardiya” (Young Guard), there was held a field young generation forum on the theme “Bilibino – City of Chances”. It was attended by representatives of the youth organization of Bilibino NPP, as well as by representatives of the ski club “Belaya Vorona” (White Crow), patriotic club “Veyem”, environmental centre “Untun” and sports teams in basketball, volleyball, hockey, airsoft and parkour.

The main objective of the forum was to unite youth organizations into the social movement aimed at positive and creation, as well as to conduct a dialogue between the local authorities and youth.

During two days the participants discussed a number of topical issues, which young people face with in the daily life – it is leisure, education, housing, work, sports and more.

Leonid Nikolayev, a Head of Bilibino district, took part in the forum. During the dialogue there were mentioned the pressing problems and highlights, also the young people tabled proposals on the future development of the city and district. Leonid Nikolayev noted the activity and willingness of the young people to participate in the further development of the city in fact rather than in word.  

In the evening there was a show of athletic teams in airsoft and parkour. And after the traditional for such events campfire and hiking songs, there was held a youth disco. In the morning the forum participants summed up and shared their opinions. It was decided unanimously to hold the annual Young Generation Forum.
