The meeting of the chief inspectors came to the end on the Kola NPP

On March 13-14 on the Kola nuclear power plant has passed the meeting of the chief inspectors of all operating Russian nuclear power plants and the plants that are  under construction.

The deputy general inspector of Rosatom State Corporation Vladimir Fedin and the deputy director of M? WANO Sergey Vybornov, the chief inspectors of JSC Atomenergoremont and JSC Atomtekhenergo took part in meeting under the leadership of the deputy director general of JSC Rosenergoatom Concern - general inspector Nikolay Sorokin.

In his report Nikolay Sorokin especially noted the importance of further high-quality development of production and inspection control system of the operating and nuclear power plants under construction and improvement of inspection services * activity of nuclear power enterprises.

– Approaches to the organization and realization of control and inspection activity at nuclear stations from year to year become more unified, – the general inspector of Rosenergoatom Concern emphasized. – It positively affects implementation the branch program of increasing the control and inspection activity efficiency.

The chief inspectors have analyzed a security and reliability status of the nuclear power plant of Russia in 2012, labor protection issues and have considered target tasks of inspection services for 2013.

The decisions made on the following results of the first in 2013 meeting of the chief inspectors, will be analyzed and realized further on each nuclear power plant of Rosenergoatom Concern for the purpose of providing higher level of safety
