On the Smolensk nuclear power plant there are the first and third power units in work. General capacity makes 2100 megawatts. There are no notes to work of the equipment. The power unit No. 2 is in planned overhaul.

Since the beginning of the month power units of the Smolensk nuclear power plant have developed 202 million kilowatts of hours of the electric power. Since the beginning of the year 16 billion 128 million kilowatts of hours, in excess of the plan - 1 billion 51 million kilowatts of hours have been developed.

The radiation background on an industrial platform of the Smolensk nuclear power plant and the adjacent territory didn't change and corresponds to natural natural values.

The Smolensk nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". SAES annually issues in a country power supply system on the average about 20 billion kilowatts of hours of the electric power that constitutes about 13% of the energy developed in Rosenergoatom concern, and more than 80%, the Smolensk region made by the power entities.
