On the building site of the Leningrad NPP-2 concreting of the internal protective cover (IPC) of the power unit No. 1 reactor building from mark + 43,5 to mark + 44,5 has been executed, what has become one of control events of the month. On a construction of the last transitional circle 159 m ? of the concrete was required, to all cylindrical part of a protective cover - 8 151 m ?.

Completion of the cylindrical part construction of VZO is one of the last stages on a way to installation of the polar crane and closing of an internal dome.

Soon specialists will start installation of a subcrane rail of the polar crane. In December the integrated bridge of the polar crane by means of the heavy crawler crane Liebherr LR 11350 will be established on a regular place on he power unit No. 1 reactor building
on a mark of +40,10 m.

It is planned to finish installation of the lower part of the dome of the power unit No. 1 reactor building until the end of the current year. Then installation of a dome upper part metal construction will follow it. Lifting and installation of dome components will be made by the same crane.
