The Leningrad NPP-2: club of foreign business on a visit at nuclear scientists

The building site of the Leningrad NPP-2 was visited by clubmen of the foreign business in case of the Leningrad Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The delegation was headed by the Chairman of club – the Honorary consul of Australia in St. Petersburg Mr. Sebastian Fitslayon.

The club of foreign business was founded in 2010 and unites top managers, entrepreneurs and diplomats from Holland, Germany, Italy, France, Korea, Turkey and other countries working and living in Russia.

Fact-finding round on a platform of the replacement construction  capacities took place within carried out by a management of municipality "Sosnovoborsk City District" of work on adjustment and strengthening of the relations between representatives of the Russian and foreign business community.

Participants of the meeting from the Leningrad NPP-2 told to guests about the NPP-2006 project according to which the first stage of the nuclear station has been constructed, having noted that the main emphasis in it is laid on reliability and efficiency of the nuclear power plant, and the optimum combination of active and passive systems of safety provided by the project does it one best samples of projects of the nuclear power plant of generation 3+. Also members of delegation received answers to questions of erected objects, technologies on a construction and operation of future station, project implementation in the current year.

In conclusion of the meeting clubmen noted that with construction of power units of the Leningrad NPP-2 the new impulse for development will receive, undoubtedly, not only Pine Pine forest, but also all northwest region.
