On October 24, 2013 the power unit No. 1 of the Kursk nuclear power plant was included into a network after carrying out repair work.

Turning on of the power unit is executed according to requirements of production schedules and maintenance instructions.

There are power units No. No. 3 and 4 in work as of October 22 of this year on the Kursk nuclear power plant. They work at the capacity established by the dispatching schedule. On power units No. 1 and 2 planned repairs are being carried out.

The radiation background on the nuclear power plant and around its arrangement is at the level corresponding to normal operation of power units, and doesn't exceed natural background values.
