Total capacity makes 1970 megawatts. The power unit No. 2 is in planned overhaul. No remarks to the work of the equipment.
 
 With the beginning of the month power units of the Smolensk nuclear power plant developed 663 million kilowatts of hours of the electric power that on 14 million kilowatts of hours exceeds a plan target. Since the beginning of the year 10 billion 953 million kilowatts of hours has been developed, in excess of the plan - 1 billion 847 million kilowatts of hours. 

 The radiation background on an industrial platform of the Smolensk nuclear power plant and the surrounding territory hasn't changed and corresponds to natural values.

 The Smolensk nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". SAES annually issues in a country power supply system on the average about 20 billion kilowatts of hours of the electric power that constitutes about 13% of the energy developed in Rosenergoatom concern, and more than 80%, the Smolensk region made by the power entities.
