On May 3, 2012 prior to the Victory Day, the members of VeteransХ Councils of the city and Novovoronezh NPP, as well as representatives of the organization of young nuclear scientists of the plant and deputies paid a visit to veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

Each of the 30 veterans was handed holiday gifts and a Letter of Thanks, which had been signed by the Director of the plant Vladimir Povarov on behalf of the management and staff of Novovoronezh NPP.

In the personal addressing, the Director of the plant thanked each one of the veterans, and expressed heartfelt gratitude for the self-sacrificing service to the Motherland in the terrible years of the Great Patriotic War.

We remember those, who went deathwards in battles to save the Motherland, those, who hastened the Victory by their heroic work in the home front, and those who raised the country from the ruins,У with these words of gratitude and good wishes Vladimir Povarov addressed to the veterans in his Letter of Thanks. The Nv NPP management and trade union committee always support and help veterans. By the request of the VeteransХ Council, there will be allocated transport for trips to the ТZdorovyeУ (Health) centre in Liski, and to the regional health resorts named after Gorky and Tsiurupa.

Last year the plant management allotted financial aid to the veterans for their flats reparation. In addition, in 2011 there was allotted 716 thousand rubles for various types of aid.

On all state, military and Orthodox holidays, the veterans are given gifts and invited to informal meetings with the Nv NPP management.
