Novovoronezh NPP: Novovoronezh held competitions of Тnuclear bogatyrsУ
In Novovoronezh on basis of sport complex there were held competitions of Тnuclear bogatyrsУ in the open contest ТCome On, Guys!У
The competition program included four kinds of sport. Participants had to demonstrate their accuracy in throwing darts, persistence in swimming at a distance of 50 m, a will to win cross-country race at a 1,000 m distance and power in kettlebell lifting.
Although for the participation in the competition there were invited military men from the military unit and employees from NPP-2, which is under construction, the sport fight was mainly performed by the nuclear plant power engineers. In total 20 people applied for participation, who became participants of the 3 teams according to the age groups Тup to 35 y.o.У, Тup to 50 y.o.У and Тolder than 50 y.o.У
Yuriy Babenko, an honored guest of the competition, Chairman of the trade committee of Novovoronezh NPP, greeted the visitors and handed prizes. ТThe competition ТCome On, Guys!Т is held for the fourth year and has already earned the rank of Тtraditional,У noted the leader of the trade committee of the nuclear power plant. ТNice to see faces of our acknowledged athletes here at the sport complex, but it will be more interesting to see new participants in the future. ItХs necessary to attract more people for such kind of a competition. The competition program is, of course, intense, but the prizes are also worth winning. And the rewards are provided not only for the winners, but also for all participants. This year guys got mini-refrigerators, camping equipment such as tents, folding tables and thermos.У
After two days the jury summed up the results of competitions. Alexander Kosyakov, Viktor Chivilev and Vladimir Inshakov, employees of the reactor and turbine shop No.2, won the first prize (each relevant to the age group). The second prize was won by Sergey Seleznev (security department), Vladislav Urazov (military unit 3677), and Viktor Popov (electric shop). The third prize Р Sergey Solonin (non-destructive metal testing and technical control department), Roman Slivkin (the 5th unit reactor shop) and Boris Fetisov (engineering and manufacturing procurement department).
