On May 2012 Novovoronezh NPP held a staff conference, which summed up commitments of the collective bargain agreement for the last year.

At the conference, the concerns of more than three thousand people staff were represented by 210 registered delegates of different subdivisions of the plant.

Opening the event, the Director of the plant Vladimir Povarov, on behalf of the General Director of Rosenergoatom Concern Yevgeniy Romanov, presented the Gratitude Certificates to the three employees for their substantial personal contribution to the successful 2011-2012 image-building campaign.

In turn, with the II degree trade unionsХ Badge of Honor ТFor Cooperation and Social PartnershipУ, the Director of the plant was noted for the constructive work with the trade union organization.

Vladimir Povarov, delivering the report to the delegates on the final results of the enterpriseХs work for the previous year, drew the participantsХ attention at the achieved technical and economical figures. He also noted that despite the heavy in the production sense past year, all what might have been done on the collective bargain commitments, was accomplished.   
 ТAlong with the trade union committees of Balakovo and Kursk NPP, we enter the top three trade union organizations of the Concern,У told during the conference Yuriy Babenko, a Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of Nv NPP. ТLast year the trade union committee worked hard and productively. We constantly kept on monitoring the fulfilling of the collective bargain agreement commitments, and worked for its realization together with the plantХs administration.У

Novovoronezh NPP over the years keeps the leading positions on construction of housing among the enterprises of the Concern. Last year the Mortgage Company of the nuclear industry put in commission two houses No.3 and 7 on Kommunalnaya Str. in Novovoronezh, where the nuclear power plant employees and their families were provided with 151 and 11 flats respectively.  
In his turn, the Deputy Director Anatoliy Levadniy read out aloud a list of comments and suggestions on the collective bargain agreement commitments fulfillment, made by employees at the meetings in subdivisions of the plant. In particular, the biggest part of it - about the increasing in 2012 of lump sum payments at the birth of a child and general overhaul of two canteens of the plant - was supported by the plantХs administration and sent for the consideration of the management of the Concern.
On the conferenceХs results, its delegates unanimously accepted the 2011 collective agreement as substantially fulfilled.
 
Novovoronezh NPP is a branch of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC. The plant is situated on the bank of the Don river at 42 km south of Voronezh. It is the first NPP in Russia, which operates reactors of VVER-type (Vessel type Pressurized Water Reactor with light water under pressure).

Each of the five plant reactors are prime Р a prototype of serial power reactors: No.1 power unit operates on VVER-210-type reactor, No.2 power unit Р VVER-365, No.3,4 power units Р VVER-440, No.5 power unit Р VVER-1000.  
At present, there are operated three power units (the Units 1 and 2 were stopped in 1984 and 1990 respectively).
