Kursk NPP: Plant Produces 2,303 Billion Kilowatt-Hours in October
In October, 2012, Kursk NPP units generated 2 billion 302,7 million kWh of electric power. The month target is performed by 101,4%.
Consumers received 2 billion 142,3 million kWh of electricity that exceeds the plan by 2.7 %.
The installed capacity utilization factor has made up 77.38 % under the scheduled 76.31%.
In total since the start up in 1976, Kursk NPP has produced 743 billion 251,6 million kWh of electric power.
At the present time, Kursk NPP operates the power units No.1, 2, 4. The units work at the capacity rated by the dispatch schedule. Unit 3 has been being under the scheduled thorough overhaul since September 1 of the current year.
The radiation background at the nuclear power plant and the adjacent territory corresponds to the level of power unitsХ normal operation and does not exceed the natural environmental values.
