From 2 to 5 October, 2012 Bilibino NPP managers were trained on the program ТPeople Management. MotivationУ. The training on people management and motivation was developed by the order of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC and is held on the basis of the Concern in Moscow and at all nuclear power plants.

The main objectives of the training - increasing of efficiency of interaction of managers with the personnel, learning of the additional methods of motivation and managerial behavior most important for the production process of the nuclear industry, as well as skill training by the help of professional training managers.

In the educational process the training participants were able to keep the experience and best practice up to date and learn the tools of motivation and involvement of employees into the production process.

ТThe difficulty is that each person is different, and in every moment of life he or she has a completely unique set of motivations. The training provided an opportunity to have really thin management tools and apply them with skill and dignity.У

On the whole, the training participants noted that the practice of such trainings was relevant and useful, and should have been continued on a regular basis.

At present Bilibino NPP operates Units 1, 2 and 4. The dispatch task is being performed. Unit 3 is under the scheduled midlife repair.

 The radiation background in the area of the nuclear power plantХs location and the adjacent territory corresponds to the level of power unitsХ normal operation and does not exceed the natural environmental values.
