Famous actorsХ tour as a part of Rosatom project ТThe Territory of CultureУ was held in Kaliningrad region. They visited Neman City, next to which Baltic NPP is to be constructed, where presented ТTrapХ performance by Robert Manukyan to the audience.

According to Sergey Voskovschuk, Neman region head, this tour is the most significant event in the municipality cultural life. In his turn, Yuri Shalimov, Baltic NPP OJSC General Director, underlined that the meetings like that should be organized as often as possible. ТPeople introduction to the real art, the possibility to see talented high professional actors not only on TV-screens is very important, first of all, for the youth, that was mainly represented in the public gatheredУ, - he noted.

This is not the first Rosatom action in Kaliningrad region within the framework of the Public Council and the State Corporation Department on work with regions. Last year State Hermitage exhibitions: the Art of Mending and Amber in Antique Culture, highly estimated not only by Russian, but also by foreign art critics and which gave a new impulse to development of the amber science, gained much success in the district. Also, with the assistance of atomists, ТIstokiУ folk festival was held Р one of the 15 socially important projects, implemented in the district of Baltic NPP location, where the quantity of the participants, especially children and youth groups, had doubled.

As Igor Konyshev, head of Rosatom State Corporation Department on Regions Operations, totally for 2010, 120 events had been organized for the inhabitants of the territories of Rosatom sites location.

Baltic NPP (is being constructed on Kaliningrad region territory) is the first nuclear plants that will be constructed with attraction of investors, including foreign ones. The Russian Federation Government took the decision on Baltic NPP construction in September, 2009. The total plant capacity is equal to 2,300 MW. The foundation stone of Baltic nuclear power plant was laid on February 25, 2010.
