Leningrad NPP has successfully passed the high-voltage tests of the generator stator at the power unit No 1 under construction
High-voltage tests of the generator stator of the 1st power unit were successfully carried out at Leningrad NPP new power units’ construction site. The testing purpose is to check the equipment’s winding insulation integrity after installation and before the final assembly of the turbine-generator set.

Leningrad NPP: the most powerful motorХs testing at idle mode was completed at power unit No 1 under construction
In the reactor building of Leningrad NPP power unit No 1 under construction the testing of the last of four motors of reactor coolant pump set (RCPS) was completed. These motors have the tremendous capacity – 7,000 kW each. As the constituent of the RCPS during the operation they will circulate through the reactor core for at least 80,000 cubic meters of coolant per hour.

Constructors have installed the turbine generator exciter on its proper location at the turbine generator of Rostov NPP power unit No 4. This is the constant current generator located at the turbine generator shaft. It powers the turbine generator windings that translate turbine rotation power into electric energy.
