Leningrad NPP: Hydraulic tests at the first power unit under construction have confirmed the density and reliability of separation and reheat system
Hydraulic tests of separation and reheat system are accomplished at turbine house of Leningrad NPP’s power unit No 1 under construction. Density and reliability of all equipment and pipelines are completely confirmed. After the reconstruction of design layout the system will be ready for registration and holding a hot and cold trial – the important stage of putting the power unit into operation.

From 13 to 22 February students of Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU, Minsk) whose specialty is steam-turbine plants of NPPs undertook pre-graduation internship at Rostov NPP. Seven fifth year students of BNTU had arrived at nuclear power plant to learn the operating peculiarities of NPP’s thermal and mechanical equipment.
