Russian NPPs increased electricity generation by 7% in seven months in comparison with 2020

Electricity generation at Russian nuclear power plants for 7 months of 2021 amounted to 127.5 billion kWh, which corresponds to 100.9% of the FAS balance sheet.

In 2020, the same figure was 119.2 billion kWh. Thus, nuclear power plants have increased their total power generation by 7%.

In July 2021, nuclear power plants generated 17.076 billion kWh, which is 7.3% more than in July last year (15.921 billion kWh).

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia approved the plan for generating electricity for Russian nuclear power plants for 2021 in the amount of 217.7 billion kWh.
