An ecologic action took place on May 6, 2011 within the framework of the traditional ecologic marathon called “Green Belt of Atomic Cities” in Kurchatov city of atomists. About 100 young Kursk NPP employees and veterans took part in it.

On May 5, 2011, at 05:19 p.m. turbine generator No. 6 (TG-6) of Kursk NPP power unit No.3 was connected to the grid. The commissioning was performed due to the requirements of safe operation technological regulations.

Novovoronezh NPP: April plan of electric power production has been fulfilled by 131,85 %
In April 2011, Novovoronezh NPP power units produced 595,978 M kWh of electric power. The plan of electric power production approved by the Federal Tariff Service of Russia was fulfilled by 131.85 %. In April, it was released 541,764 mln kWh of electric power or 137.50 % of the planned value to the power system.

Kursk NPP: the April plan for electric power generation has been fulfilled by 101,6%
In April, 2011 the Kursk NPP generated 2 bln. 129.8 3 mln. kWh of electric power. The task is executed: as for the electric power – by 101.6 %, as for its delivery – by 103.3 %. Installed capacity utilization factor task is also overfulfilled.
