Ignatov Viktor Igorevich

He was born in 1951.

Has graduated from the Tomsk Polytechnic Institute.

Holds a Ph.D. degree in Science.

1976 – 1981 - a special building operator, an engineer, and a senior engineer of the Kolsk NPP reactor department.

1981-1986 - a head of shift at the reactor workshop, a deputy head of reactor workshop operations, a head of the reactor workshop at the South-Ukrainian NPP.

1986-1990 - the deputy chief engineer of the Khmelnitsky NPP 1st and 2nd power blocks’ operations.

1990-2005 - the Balakovo NPP chief engineer.

Since 2005 and up to July 24, 2016 - the deputy CEO and the director of the Rosenergoatom affiliate Balakovo NPP.

On July 25, 2016, Mr. Ignatov was appointed as the deputy CEO and the director of the Rosenergoatom affiliate Kalinin NPP.

Holds the Order of Peoples' Friendship (1994), the 2nd stage medal of the “For Merit to the Fatherland” Order (2001), the Russian Government science and technology award (2002). One of the most long-service employees of the nuclear power industry. Holds multiple badges of merit, testimonials, and honorary certificates. The winner of the national annual “The best manager of the year” award (2011).
