The seminar-meeting was carried out in the Training Centre (TC) of Kalinin NPP from 29 to 31 October. It was organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency and Rosenergoatom JSC within the consultancy support of Kalinin NPP for preparation of OSART mission that will be held at the Plant in 2020. The seminar on topic of Training and attestation was held by the invited IAEA expert, the head of the Training Centre of Kozloduy NPP (Bulgaria) Lubomir Pironkov.

During three days the participants of the seminar examined the main requirements and documents made by IAEA in the direction of Training and attestation, discussed the organizational aspects of OSART mission holding. Lubomir Pironkov visited classes and workshops of the TC, and full-scale simulator of power unit No 4 of Kalinin NPP.

“I was impressed by the material and technical equipment of the Training Centre. The operation order and instructors’ training are at the high level. Kalinin NPP has every reason to pass OSART mission successfully in 2020”, L. Pironkov noted.
