The amount of additional tax payments within the implementation of the Agreement between Rosatom State Corporation and Voronezh Oblast can exceed 3.3 billion rubles (as at the beginning of September, 2017).

It is to be recalled that in 2012 - the first among presence regions in Russia - the Government of Voronezh Oblast in the person of the Governor Aleksey Gordeev concluded the Agreement with Rosatom State Corporation in the person of Sergey Kirienko on funding of the additional tax payments in the Voronezh Oblast budget.

These resources were directed at the improvement of social and engineer structure, the construction of sports facilities and the development of presence towns of Rosenergoatom Concern JSC.

Over the period of the Agreement about 2 billion rubles were given into Novovoronezh budget.

These funds were spent to such objects as the multi-gym Start, the illuminated fountain, the Martial Arts Centre were constructed, and also the foundation stone of the Ice ring was laid. The repair of facilities and the development of Secondary school No 1, the capital repairs of the oldest kindergarten No 5, the repair of the roofs and building surrounding grounds, the capital repairs of general use roads, the modernization of the Palace of Culture were carried out, the special municipal vehicles were bought, etc.

It is to be recalled that this year Novovoronezh NPP celebrates its anniversary – 60 years from its commissioning.
