On March 24, 2010 a conference summarizing the results of fulfillment of the collective agreement for 2010 was held at Kursk NPP. Representatives of all the nuclear plant departments and subdivisions participated in it. On the whole, the staff was represented by 258 delegates.

Greeting the delegates and participants, Kursk NPP Director Nikolay Sorokin underlined a special importance of the collective agreement as a fundamental document regulating social and labor relations, and called its fulfillment one of the priorities. ТThe main task of the nuclear plant is provision of safe, stable and economically efficient production of electric power and improvement of operation quality. And successful fulfillment of this task directly depends on respectable salary of the NPP employees, their confidence in the futureУ, - N. Sorokin noted. 

In order to achieve all the goals set, important projects were started at Kursk NPP last year: the Code of Ethics, Unified Branch Procurement System, RPS, Unified System of Remuneration and other social programs were introduced. A new system of remuneration for atomists was to assess the contribution of each worker, but it is still not perfect, as the Director has underlined. Nevertheless, after the plant had passed over to the unified system of remuneration, the salaries were not reduced, but even grew by 22.3% in average.

The programs on the NPP staff labor and health safety were completely fulfilled. Over three thousand of the plant employees out of the five thousand had an opportunity of having rest and improving their health in various sanatoriums and vacation hotels at the expense of social insurance resources and other sources of financing. And this exceeded much the standard of the agreement. Also a great deal of attention is paid to the local health centerР Orbita sanatorium-preventorium. Last year its buildings underwent modernization, and new equipment was installed.

In the course of the year a straight and well-thought personnel policy was implemented at the enterprise (there were no off-charges, but 93 new workers were employed), the obligations on the plant workers social protection were fulfilled. It would be enough to say, that 160 M rubles totally was spent on the social benefit and guarantees realization in excess of the Russian Federation Labor Code.

The veterans and unemployed pensioners were not forgotten either. 273 sanatorium vouchers for the total sum of more than 8 M rubles (this figure is higher than with other nuclear plants) have been given for them, they are rendered assistance in tilling their vegetable gardens, purchasing of fuel and expensive medicines.

 

ТWe can for sure state the fact that our team has coped with all the tasks setУ, - Nikolay Sorokin summed it up. Р One more proof is the fact that all the plant subdivisions decided to claim the collective agreement completely fulfilled. Of course, there is much work to do, but I am sure that the coherent actions of the personnel, new approaches to social programs will allow us to obtain good results by Kursk NPP 35th anniversary, which is to be celebrated this yearУ.

In his speech, PPO No. 320 Chairman Gennady Polkhov spoke of great attention paid to both the production and social programs on the part of the administration and trade union committee. He also noted the targeted work of the trade union in the fields of the plant employees and their familiesХ labour safety and recreation. 

The main result of the conference work was the fact that the collective agreement of 2010 was recognized to be fulfilled by the delegatesХ unanimous decision. Finally, the delegates from Kursk NPP were selected to take part in the Concern conference.
